Tee is a former professional golfer who has seen all sides of life as a golfer. She was an outstanding junior golfer in the late 70’s and 80’s winning back to back Washington State titles, Pacific Northwest Golf Assoc. (PNGA) titles among other various appearances on the national seen, from Junior World to the Junior PGA Championships. She also was awarded the prestigious Mengert Inspiration Award in 1980 for her positive attitude in both wining and losing, being a successful player and a good role model, encouraging others to do their best, working hard to achieve her goals all the while showing growth and maturity.

Her amateur career was highlighted by numerous USGA events across the country, including three U.S. Women’s Opens. USGA events were her favorites as she excelled in the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links, U.S. Women’s Amateur, and the U.S. Girls’ Junior.

Tee attended the University of New Mexico and had a stellar career as a Lady Lobo golfer. Her four years as a collegiate golfer were highlighted by being a nationally ranked team, finishing 11th her freshman year at the NCAA’s, winning her conference title her freshman year, being named All-Conference all four years, and being named All-American her junior year. She competed with the best women golfers from around the world with excellence.

In 1986, Tee eventually turned professional competing on the Future’s Golf Tour as well as the now defunct California Women’s Tour in the late 80’s. Her highlights as a professional included playing in three U.S. Women’s Opens (one as an amateur), travelling the country in her “Grand-AM” playing on some of the finest golf courses in the world, and competing with champion women golfers, many who became good Christian friends.

Tee eventually stepped away from the game in 1990 and pursued a career in radio. She was an announcer at a FM station outside of Atlanta for 15 1/2 years, as well as a brief stint with sports television.

Today she is married with two children, and enjoying helping her husband’s successful business, raising her two children, working in ministry marketing online, and others with ministry marketing outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
